As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible to support the delivery of high-end, luxury residential and hospitality projects in Bali. This role will play a vital role in managing all costs related to the projects and ensure them completed within budget and to the highest standards.

We are currently representing one of our client, a property developer company with luxurious project in Bali which looking to expand their team.

Job Description

  • Review and verify contractors' monthly Progress Claims through on-site measurement and validation
  • Evaluate and provide pricing for Variation Orders and claims submitted by contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Perform cost analyses across Civil, Structural, Architectural, MEP, and Landscaping works
  • Prepare Payment Certificates, final accounts, and relevant financial documentation
  • Identify and source subcontractors/suppliers; obtain and compare technical and commercial proposals; and conduct contract evaluations to ensure cost effectiveness
  • Attend project meetings and actively contribute to technical and design discussions
  • Provide advice and support to the Project Manager on contractual and procurement strategies, including risk assessment, value engineering, budget control, dispute resolution, and overall project management considerations

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor or Diploma Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying and Cost Management role, including strong capability in measuring construction quantities, preparing cost estimates, and conducting pricing analyses
  • Understanding of construction contracts (e.g., FIDIC) and procurement processes; able to work responsibly and independently within a collaborative team environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of hotel and residential construction practices and standards
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience in the procurement of FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) and OS&E (Operating Supplies & Equipment) is an advantage
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and SketchUp software is preferred
  • Willing to be placed in Bali
