This leader partners with Engineering Managers and Product leads to drive cross‑functional alignment, continuous improvement, and impactful outcomes.

Job Description

  • Own the quality strategy and governance across multiple teams/BUs, defining standards, SLAs, and KPIs.
  • Establish, track, and socialize quality metrics (e.g., defect leakage, release stability, escape rates) to drive decisions.
  • Design and oversee release processes, risk assessments, and go/no‑go criteria for high‑risk, regulated environments.
  • Partner with Engineering Managers and Product leads to align roadmaps with quality goals and mitigate delivery risks.
  • Lead and mentor a QA team (10+ QAs), including hiring, performance management, and career development.
  • Drive cross‑team process improvements (test strategy, environment readiness, regression scope, automation ROI).
  • Champion outcome‑focused QA practices, ensuring customer impact and compliance guide quality decisions.

The Successful Applicant

  • Min 8 years of experience in quality assurance within a technology industry.
  • Proven people leaderhip experiences with clear coaching, performance frameworks, and team health.
  • Owned quality across multiple squads/BUs with strong release, risk, and metric‑driven decision making.
  • Confident communicator who partners effectively with Engineering Managers and Product to influence outcomes.
  • Experience in fintech/high‑risk/regulated systems; comfortable with controls, audits, and compliance needs.
  • Track record of driving process improvements beyond execution; outcome‑ and impact‑oriented.
