Job Description

  • Responsible for the overall procurement processes, such as planning, budgeting, scheduling, etc.
  • In charge to monitor the whole processes to ensure they align with the Company's policies and business needs
  • Leading the purchasing team and develop the members with necessary skills and knowledge
  • Use various material cost trends for decision making, screening and selecting right vendors, and price negotiation
  • Create financial report and develop cost models
  • Qualification and selection of vendors
  • Work closely with vendors/suppliers
  • Identify new suppliers to diversify purchasing portfolio, reduce single vendor situation
  • Support to improve the business in terms of cost effectiveness
  • Ensure regional Procurement understands the local business requirements & constraints so their activities and priorities add value to the Country
  • Outsourcing strategy/development/management

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related fields
  • Excellent communication in verbal and written ENGLISH
  • Willing to be based in West Java area
  • In-depth knowledge of import and export procedures
  • 5+ years team management experience within Purchasing or similar function, preferably in manufacturing
  • Possess strong knowledge in managing large inventory and variety of raw material and finished goods
  • Strong leadership skills, good communication, analytical skills and people development ability
  • Has been Lead Negotiator during major contractual discussions
  • Proven knowledge in developing executing and reviewing crisis management plans
  • Project management experience demonstrating on-time delivery and improving the quality of suppliers
