About Our Client

Our client is a leading international energy developer embarking on a large-scale LNG regasification project in Indonesia. Currently in the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) phase, the project aims to enhance the nation's energy infrastructure and supply chain.

Job Description

As the Project Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the FEED stage of the LNG regasification project, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder expectations. Your role will encompass:

  • Project Leadership: Direct and manage all aspects of the FEED phase, including engineering design, planning, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with government bodies, contractors, and internal departments to ensure seamless communication and project alignment.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all project activities adhere to local and international regulations, environmental standards, and safety protocols.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard project timelines and budgets.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress, challenges, and milestones.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Minimum of 15 years in project management within the oil & gas sector, with at least 5 years in LNG projects and significant exposure to the FEED phase.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree or PMP certification is advantageous.
  • Proven leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of engineering design processes and regulatory frameworks.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
