We are looking for an experienced and strategic Procurement Manager to oversee the sourcing and supply of grains, specifically soybeans, corn, and wheat. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a consistent and cost-effective supply of grains while maintaining quality standards and building strong relationships with suppliers. This role requires a deep understanding of grain markets, procurement strategies, and global supply chain management.

About Our Client

Our client is an agribusiness and food processing company, who is recognized in the SEA. As the company grows, they are looking to recruit a procurement manager to transform their procurement department.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for soybeans, corn, and wheat to meet company requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring adherence to quality, delivery schedules, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to maintain optimal inventory levels and avoid overstocking or shortages.
  • Monitor global market trends, commodity prices, and supply chain disruptions to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Manage the procurement budget effectively, ensuring cost efficiency and value for money.
  • Stay updated on trade policies, tariffs, and import/export regulations related to grains.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Agriculture, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in grains or agricultural commodities.
  • Strong knowledge of global grain markets, commodity trading, and procurement practices.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in managing import/export processes and logistics.
