Job Description

  • Developing and implementing procurement strategies for commodities to meet business objectives.
  • Identifying and evaluating suppliers to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and reliability.
  • Leading negotiations with suppliers to establish favourable terms and contracts.
  • Monitoring market trends and pricing for the commodity to inform purchasing decisions.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations in all procurement activities.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to forecast demand and manage inventory effectively.
  • Analysing procurement data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers.

The Successful Applicant

  • A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8+ Years of experience in procurement
  • Strong knowledge of procurement strategies and supply chain processes.
  • Experience in managing sourcing activities within the commodity category.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and organisational skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • A results-driven mindset with attention to detail and compliance
