Our client is a one of Indonesia's largest and most diversified group with one of their power plants based in Batam.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure reliable supply of machinaries, spare parts, and essential materials.
  • Identify, evaluate, and establish strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and service providers.
  • Negotiate procurement contracts, pricing, and payment terms to optimize cost efficiency and adherence to agreed terms, conditions, and service levels..
  • Work closely with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to understand procurement needs.
  • Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and geopolitical risks that may impact fuel supply and costs.
  • Collaborate with legal and finance teams to mitigate contractual risks.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of procurement experience, preferably in the energy, power generation, or heavy industries.
  • Strong knowledge of coal procurement, fuel supply chains, industrial equipment, and power plant operations.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Professional certification in procurement or supply chain management (CPSM, CIPS, etc.).
