Job Description



  • Use effective sourcing methods to choose and develop suppliers for assigned portfolios, including market research and negotiations.


  • Create and recommend strategies for sourcing raw and packaging materials to build a competitive supplier base.


  • Understand market trends and costs for key commodities to develop balanced supplier strategies.


  • Identify risks and opportunities in sourcing processes and implement solutions.


  • Create backup plans to ensure a steady supply of materials.


  • Find and develop new strategic suppliers.


  • Help resolve ongoing quality or service issues with suppliers.


  • Monitor supplier performance in terms of cost, quality, and service improvements.


  • Maintain good relationships with suppliers and encourage their loyalty to the company.


  • Lead cost-saving projects involving suppliers.


  • Work with internal teams to develop third-party manufacturing options.


  • Collaborate with packaging, R&D, and marketing teams to address changing business needs.


  • Prepare and manage the annual budget for your portfolio, providing regular updates.


  • Train and mentor the sourcing team.



The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will be based in Jakarta and will be having these requirements:

  • Indonesian candidate with at least 10 years experience in Direct Procurement within FMCG Companies.
  • MBA in Supply Chain Management or Engineering Degree.
  • Strong expertise in Packaging, Raw Material and Commodity Management.
  • Strong Entrepreneurial profile with high decision making skills and communications.
  • Experience in Multinational Organisation and managing experienced team.
  • Strong ability to review and identify issues and opportunities in the business and get things done.
