Job Description

  • Oversee procurement activities for machinery and capex items, from initial requirements to contract execution.
  • Manage a significant annual spend while exploring opportunities to reduce costs and enhance value.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers across regions and evaluate their performance regularly.
  • Conduct risk reviews and drive improvements in quality, delivery, service, and pricing.
  • Ensure all processes follow internal rules, ethical standards, and audit expectations.
  • Maintain complete and accurate sourcing documentation and contracts.
  • Provide regular updates on spending, savings, supplier metrics, and potential risks.
  • Support budget planning, forecasting, and alignment with internal operational needs.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to understand technical specifications and equipment requirements.
  • Contribute to regional or global procurement strategies and support audit activities when required.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline such as supply chain, business, engineering, or procurement.
  • 6-9 years of experience in sourcing within technical, industrial, or equipment‑heavy sectors.
  • Proven capability in handling multimillion‑dollar procurement categories.
  • Skilled in negotiation, commercial discussions, and understanding of contractual frameworks.
  • Experience working with both local and regional suppliers and comfortable in matrix setups.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with good data accuracy.
  • Familiar with ERP tools like SAP or Oracle.
  • Exposure to multinational or regional procurement structures is an advantage.
