Job Description

As Principal Architect, you will:

  • Define and oversee technical architecture for complex, distributed systems serving millions of users.
  • Mentor and influence engineering teams, ensuring performance, scalability, security, and maintainability of software products.
  • Participate in system analysis, technical design, and code reviews, while guiding long-term architectural decisions.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and third-party solutions to enhance product capabilities.
  • Balance short-term delivery goals with long-term strategic objectives, driving innovation and resilience.

The Successful Applicant

Ideal Profile

  • 15+ years of progressive software development experience, including explicit architecture leadership roles.
  • Proven success designing and delivering large-scale distributed systems under Agile methodologies.
  • Experience working with global, distributed teams and diverse cultures.
  • Strong knowledge of security best practices and building systems resilient to faults and attacks.
  • Up-to-date with modern technologies and industry trends; FinTech experience is a plus.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and influencing skills.
