Job Description

As an Operations Director, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing operations of several plants to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to optimise production processes and resource utilisation.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations across all operations.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitoring performance metrics and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Managing budgets and ensuring cost-effective operations.
  • Overseeing the maintenance and upgrade of equipment and facilities.
  • Providing leadership and guidance to the engineering and manufacturing teams.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Operations Director should have:

  • A strong plant management experience, preferably have managed more than 1 plant.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Experience in process optimisation and operational efficiency.
  • Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant tools and software for operations management.
