Job Description

As the Merchandising Director, you will:

  • Lead the end-to-end merchandising strategy across multiple categories, ensuring alignment with brand positioning and commercial objectives.
  • Oversee assortment planning, pricing architecture, and inventory optimization to drive profitability and market responsiveness.
  • Collaborate closely with buying, planning, marketing, and retail operations teams to deliver cohesive go-to-market strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, negotiating terms and driving joint business plans with global and regional partners.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities.
  • Champion digital transformation in merchandising processes, leveraging data and technology to enhance agility and performance.



The Successful Applicant

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in merchandising, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within fashion, lifestyle, or multi-brand retail.
  • Experience in Asia/ Europe will be a major advantage
  • Proven track record in strategic assortment planning, vendor management, and commercial performance.
  • Strong analytical acumen and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, matrixed organization with regional or global exposure.
  • A passion for retail innovation and customer experience.
