Job Description

  • Project Leadership: Manage mechanical project lifecycles from planning to execution, including design review, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Team Management: Supervise, coach, and evaluate mechanical engineers, designers, or technicians.
  • Maintenance & Operations: Develop maintenance schedules for equipment, manage inventory, and ensure operational efficiency, often focusing on HVAC, piping, or manufacturing systems.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide expertise on complex problems, ensuring designs meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project alignment.

The Successful Applicant

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in mechanical construction, design, or project management (often 4+ years).
  • Technical Knowledge: Proficiency with CAD software (2D/3D), mechanical systems (HVAC/piping), and manufacturing processes.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and budget management abilities.
