Our client is looking for a Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize our supply chain operations in Indonesia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing import/export activities, warehouse operations, transportation, and distribution to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of goods.

Our client is one of the leading multinational industrial manufacutring client with offices and manufacturing sites in 40 countries, known for their precision and durability in demanding industrial environments. Their products are used in various industries such as oil & gas, manufacturing, energy, pharmaceuticals, and food processing.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics operations, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency.
  • Work closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to streamline the supply chain.
  • Ensure compliance with Indonesian customs regulations, import/export documentation, and trade policies.
  • Oversee warehouse operations, inventory management, and stock accuracy.
  • Manage partnerships with logistics providers to ensure smooth domestic and international shipments.
  • Support contract review and negotiation with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and logistics service providers to secure the best terms and rates.
  • Track key logistics KPIs (e.g., delivery times, inventory turnover, transportation costs) and implement improvements.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management, preferably in a trading or import/export company.
  • Strong understanding of bonded warehouse (PLB) operations, import/export regulations, and customs clearance processes.
  • Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
