Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive legal and compliance system for the company.
  • Oversee the business licensing and permit application process to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Establish legal policies, command structures, and reporting frameworks to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs for legal and compliance functions to drive accountability and performance.
  • Provide legal support in corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
  • Ensure the company's policies align with good corporate governance (GCG) principles.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, agreements, and legal documents to protect the company's interests.
  • Advise senior management on legal risks, industry regulations, and best practices.
  • Liaise with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and external legal counsels as needed.
  • Conduct legal training and awareness programs for internal stakeholders.



The Successful Applicant

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B); Master's degree (LL.M) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in corporate law, regulatory compliance, or legal operations.
  • Strong experience in business licensing, regulatory approvals, and compliance systems development.
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate governance, risk management, and legal frameworks.
  • Strong leadership and strategic thinking to build and oversee legal functions.
  • Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and liaise with senior management and regulatory bodies.
