Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management: Lead the end-to-end contract cycle, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing agreements to protect the company's interests.
  • Labour & Compliance: Ensure full compliance with Indonesian labour laws, regulations, and internal policies across all HR and operational activities.
  • Industrial Relations: Build and maintain strong union relationships; handle bipartite and tripartite negotiations; manage disputes and represent the company in labour matters.
  • Government Liaison: Act as the primary contact with regional and national government authorities (including Kemenperin, ESDM, BKPM) and other related stakeholders to ensure compliance and smooth regulatory processes.
  • Employee Relations: Support disciplinary actions, termination processes, and restructuring projects in line with local labour laws.
  • Risk & Compliance Advisory: Provide proactive advice on compliance issues, legal risks, and regulatory changes affecting operations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with management, HR, operations, and external counsel to mitigate risks and safeguard business continuity.

The Successful Applicant

Requirements:

  • Licensed Advocate (PERADI) - non-negotiable.
  • Minimum 7 years PQE (or at least 10 years' legal experience), preferably in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
  • Proven track record in handling union relationships, bipartite/tripartite negotiations, and labour dispute resolution.
  • Strong expertise in labour law, IR, contracts, and compliance.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to be placed on-site in Karawang.
