Job Description

As a Legal Counsel, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing all legal matters within the mining division
  • Handling transactions related to company's operational and expansion needs
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and laws
  • Developing and implementing effective legal strategies
  • Advising on contract status, legal risks, and the legal liabilities associated with different deals
  • Researching and anticipating unique legal issues that could impact the company
  • Reviewing advertising and marketing materials to ensure that they are in compliance with legal requirements
  • Providing training to the company on legal topics

The Successful Applicant

A successful Legal Counsel should have:

  • A degree in law from a reputable university
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience
  • Strong command in English
  • Comfortable to work from office (South Jakarta)
  • Comfortable to work independently reporting to Head of Legal
  • Excellent knowledge of Mining industry regulations and laws
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a multinational corporation
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
