You will act as the main liaison with regulators and work closely with leadership to drive a proactive compliance culture, while supporting strategic initiatives including decarbonization projects.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison with OJK, including managing audits, regulatory visits, and ongoing communication
  • Ensure full compliance with OJK and other relevant regulatory requirements
  • Prepare and submit periodic and ad-hoc regulatory reports accurately and on time
  • Lead and support corporate governance processes, including:
    • Annual General Meetings of Shareholders (AGMS)
    • Board of Directors and Board of Commissioners meetings
    • Shareholder resolutions and corporate actions
  • Organize and support mandatory governance functions such as AML/CFT, risk management, and internal audit coordination
  • Draft, review, and manage legal documents, including contracts, deeds, corporate resolutions, and regulatory submissions
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders including legal counsel, notaries, regulators, and industry associations
  • Provide legal advisory support on corporate and regulatory matters to internal stakeholders
  • Support ad-hoc strategic projects, including initiatives related to decarbonization, carbon trading, and emissions reduction
  • Proactively identify risks, escalate issues appropriately, and recommend practical solutions

The Successful Applicant

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB); advanced degree is an advantage
  • Minimum 3 years of full time experience in banking, financial services, or OJK-regulated companies
  • Strong understanding of OJK regulations, PPATK requirements, and financial services compliance frameworks
  • Proven experience in:
    • Handling OJK audits and regulatory interactions
    • Supporting fit & proper test processes for senior management
    • Managing corporate secretarial functions (AGMS, board meetings, shareholder matters)
  • Strong legal drafting skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English
  • Solid experience in legal documentation, research, and regulatory reporting
  • High level of responsiveness, accountability, and attention to detail
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable working in a lean environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and regulators
