We are seeking a seasoned Regulatory Compliance Leader to oversee permitting and compliance for FLNG midstream and downstream projects. This role will drive regulatory strategy, ensure alignment with Indonesian laws, and act as the key liaison with government authorities while supporting business continuity and project delivery.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end regulatory compliance for midstream and downstream FLNG projects
  • Manage Indonesian permitting processes (OSS, SIPUHH, SINERGY, UKL/UPL, AMDAL)
  • Develop and maintain compliance matrices, tracking tools, and audit follow-ups
  • Liaise with government bodies for permits, reporting, and regulatory alignment
  • Provide strategic regulatory advice to senior management on policy changes
  • Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and compliance monitoring systems
  • Drive continuous improvement in compliance frameworks and governance practices
  • Lead and mentor compliance teams across complex project environments

The Successful Applicant

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Law, or related field
  • 8+ years experience in the similar role and industry exposure
  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian regulatory and permitting systems
  • In-depth understanding of oil & gas operations (upstream and downstream, onshore & offshore)
  • Proven leadership experience managing compliance teams or large-scale projects
  • Strong stakeholder management and government relations experience
  • Proficient in compliance tracking tools, document control, and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
