Job Description

The IT Network & Operations Manager will be responsible for:

  • Lead and supervise a team of IT and network specialists.
  • Formulate and execute strategic plans for IT and network infrastructure, including capacity planning, technology roadmap creation, and budget oversight.
  • Manage the design, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of our data center networks, encompassing high-speed internet, core switching, routing, and security systems.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards for data center security, regulatory adherence, and disaster recovery.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with key technology vendors and partners.
  • Monitor and resolve network issues to maintain optimal performance and uptime.
  • Implement and sustain IT documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide mentorship to IT and network staff.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of IT professionals.
  • Extensive knowledge of data center network design, implementation, and security best practices.
  • Possession of professional certifications (CCNA/CCNP, JNCIA/JNCIP, MTCNA, etc.) is a Plus
  • Proficiency with network protocols, routing, switching, and firewalls (MPLS, OSPF, BGP, advanced network routing, L2/VLAN, SDN concepts, VPN, basic virtualization).
  • Familiarity with Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto network and security devices.
  • Experience with VMware, NSX, and SDN networks is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to motivate and inspire a team.
