Job Description

  • Developing and implementing the company's overall IT strategy to support business goals.
  • Advise senior management on tech strategy.
  • Support technology implementation.
  • Support driving the digital initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, together with Digital, Cyber and Enterprise Architecture teams.
  • Develop IT policies and procedures for asset lifecycle, user management, backup, and incident handling.
  • Overseeing system upgrades and the integration of new technologies.
  • Collaborating with other departments to identify and implement technology solutions.
  • Managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts for IT services.
  • Monitoring IT budgets and ensuring cost-effective investments in technology.
  • Staying updated on industry trends to ensure the company remains competitive.

The Successful Applicant

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven leadership experience in the technology department of the Energy & Natural Resources industry.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.
  • Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • The ability to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
