Job Description

As an Internal Controller, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing effective internal control procedures and systems.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and organisational standards.
  • Monitoring and evaluating financial transactions within the Accounting & Finance department.
  • Conducting risk assessments and addressing potential vulnerabilities in processes.
  • Collaborating with various teams to support audits and improve operational efficiency.
  • Providing detailed reports on internal control performance and recommending enhancements.
  • Guiding the organisation on best practices for internal control management.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of all control activities.

The Successful Applicant

  • At least a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience in internal controls, audits, or risk management - prior Big 10 audit experience highly beneficial.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • An ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.
  • Proficiency in relevant accounting and financial software (i.e., Odoo, Accurate, etc.)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
