Job Description

  • Effective operations and strategic direction of the human resource and admin function including recruitment, staff development, payroll, disciplinary, transfers and termination;
  • Responsible for overall staff satisfaction and welfare strategies/programs
  • Actively implement strategic HR initiatives such as succession planning and staff retention programs for the Company and within the department as and when appropriate;
  • Provide HR business partnership to business leaders.
  • Develop, implement, socialize and enforce HR policies (Local and Regional).
  • Analyzes and provide recommendation on all HR aspects across departments.
  • Conduct & Oversee Orientation and Induction.
  • Provide support and advice for recruitment and termination processes and Compensation & Benefits
  • Conduct annual compensation review & manage career review/succession planning.
  • Lead overall HR Budget process (support annual budget process).
  • Enhance working relationship between management & employees via different employee engagement & continuous improvement programs so as to create better lives & welfare for employees.
  • Promote & build employee & industrial relations with management, staff & regulatory bodies so as to achieve a harmonious employee & industrial relations climate.
  • Handle grievances & resolve conflicts & negotiate agreement by working closely with staff, management & HR.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 10 - 12 years of HR Management experience as an HR Generalist covering all HR functions
  • Experienced in the logistics or freight forwarding industries in a manager-level or senior manager-level position
  • Familiar in working in a matrix environment working closely with regional and global stakeholders
  • Excellent English-speaking, communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Strong in Industrial Relations, Talent Development, Organisation Development, and HR Business Partnering experience ideally for a multinational company
