Job Description

As an HR Director, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing the Human Resources team
  • Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives
  • Providing leadership and guidance to the HR team and all employees regarding HR policies and procedures
  • Overseeing the recruitment and selection process
  • Supporting employee engagement and developing initiatives
  • Championing the development and maintenance of a strong organizational culture that supports business success
  • Ensuring compliance with labour regulations
  • Developing, implementing and managing succession planning, career development, and talent retention strategies
  • Maintaining and enhancing employee benefits programmes
  • Fostering a positive work environment through employee engagement initiatives and conflict resolution
  • Developing and overseeing the company's performance management system, including setting objectives, feedback, and evaluation processes
  • Overseeing performance management systems

The Successful Applicant

A successful HR Director should have:

  • A university degree from reputable university
  • Proven experience as HR professionals within the FMCG / Retail or any other fast-paced industry
  • At least 15+ years of working experience within the HR department
  • Strong leadership abilities
  • Excellent understanding of labour laws and disciplinary procedures
  • Proficiency in HR software and analytics
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skill
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, compensation and benefits, and talent management
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders from blue-collar to C-suites
  • Strong problem solving, analytics, influencing and communication skill in both Bahasa and English
  • Ability to be hands-on and willing to roll up sleeves and contribute
  • Strong business acumen and drive to place HR as a business partner instead of a support function
