Job Description

  • Develop and implement strategies for managing distressed assets, including restructuring, recovery, and exit plans.
  • Lead negotiations with borrowers, stakeholders, and external parties to optimize recovery outcomes.
  • Monitor and analyze portfolio performance, identifying early warning signals and recommending corrective actions.
  • Oversee legal and regulatory compliance in asset recovery processes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (risk, legal, finance) to ensure integrated solutions for asset resolution.
  • Prepare reports and recommendations for senior management and the board on asset management strategies and progress.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in asset management, restructuring, or special situations, ideally within infrastructure or financial institutions.
  • Proven track record in managing distressed assets and leading complex negotiations.
  • Strong understanding of financial analysis, debt restructuring, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver results in challenging situations.
