About Our Client

Our client is a leading manufacturing company in Indonesia, a notable name in the industry, and they are currently looking for a Head of Plant to oversee the overall plant operations.

Job Description

  • Take total daily control of production line operations, quality, engineering, and safety.
  • Raise output, resource capacity, and adaptability while reducing costs and upholding quality requirements.
  • Create and promote strategies for transformation and ongoing improvement.
  • Ensure that there is enough equipment, labor, and supplies on hand to meet production and sales demands.
  • Ensure that the organization's goals are met.
  • Create a regular management team update on the state of production and quality.
  • Together with the quality department, monitor and maintain the quality to make sure the items satisfy the necessary requirements.
  • Coordinate environmental health and safety requirements with the appropriate unit to make sure that all staff members are aware of and follow the rules.
  • To ensure the staff's safety, monitor and uphold the required safety standards during the shift.
  • Carry out standard operating procedures and make sure they are followed by all departments.
  • Ensure that the personnel receive adequate training in the necessary skills.
  • Uphold positive relationships between consultants, contractors, and the corresponding divisional teams.
  • Create a monthly updating schedule and an annual operational budget.
  • In charge of establishing department-related policies and SOP
  • Work with the Human Resources Department to plan the workforce in accordance with each division's or unit's requirements.
  • In charge of the Department's organizational structure, personnel decisions involving hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions, as well as the implementation of a performance-based culture.

The Successful Applicant

  • A respectable university bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial management, agriculture, or a similar discipline
  • A minimum of 10 years of work experience in that field
  • A minimum of five years of managerial experience
  • Relevant experience in Food Processing industry
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English is a must,
  • Other qualifications include strong team building, decision-making, organization, and people management skills.
