Job Description

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of all logistics operation.
  • Continuously review and refine operational processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain high-quality service standards.
  • Manage, develop, and motivate a talented team of department heads and operations staff.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance environment and support team members in their career growth.
  • Oversee operational budgets and ensure cost-effective resource allocation.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.
  • Oversee inventory management and ensure that stock levels align with demand while minimizing holding costs.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and oversee customs processes for export/import operations.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers, clients, and partners to ensure a smooth and reliable supply chain.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international regulations related to safety, environmental standards, and industry best practices.
  • Implement and maintain safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for staff, drivers, and warehouse personnel.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints promptly, ensuring that any operational challenges are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive and forward-thinking.



The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will be based in Jakarta and meet these requirements:

  • 10+ years experience in operations management within the logistics, transportation, or supply chain industry. Proven experience in leading teams and managing multi-functional operations.
  • Bachelor Degree from reputable university
  • Experienced team leader, hands-on leader who can inspire and develop teams, with strong decision-making abilities.
  • Solid Operational Knowledge: Deep understanding of logistics operations, including transport, trucking, export/import, and warehousing.
  • Strong Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues, find solutions, and implement improvements.
  • Communication Skills: Clear and effective communicator who can build relationships internally and externally, from team members to senior leadership and customers.
