About Our Client

The client is a leading textile manufacturer in Indonesia.

Job Description



  1. Team Management:
    • Lead and supervise a team of dyeing technicians, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
    • Delegate tasks, monitor performance, and ensure optimal productivity from the team.
    • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and professional growth.


  2. Production Planning and Execution:
    • Collaborate with the production planning team to develop dyeing schedules, considering order requirements, deadlines, and available resources.
    • Ensure the timely execution of dyeing orders, closely monitoring progress to meet production targets.
    • Coordinate with other departments, such as sourcing and quality control, to ensure a smooth workflow and resolve any production-related issues.


  3. Color Management and Quality Control:
    • Implement and enforce color management procedures to maintain consistent and accurate dyeing results.
    • Work closely with the design and development team to create and approve color samples for production.
    • Conduct regular color matching and inspections to ensure the dyeing results meet the required standards.
    • Collaborate with the quality control team to address any color discrepancies or defects, implementing corrective actions as necessary.


  4. Process Improvement:
    • Continuously evaluate dyeing processes, equipment, and chemicals to identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Collaborate with the engineering and research teams to implement process enhancements, optimize dyeing efficiency, and reduce waste.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and innovations in dyeing technology to ensure the factory remains competitive.


  5. Safety and Compliance:
    • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and guidelines in the dyeing department.
    • Promote a culture of safety awareness and provide necessary training to the team members.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including chemical handling and environmental regulations.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in textiles, chemistry, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a dyeing manufacturing environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of dyeing techniques, equipment, and chemical formulations.
  • Strong understanding of color theory, color management, and color matching processes.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities to identify and address process inefficiencies.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of quality control principles and experience in implementing quality improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards within the manufacturing industry, particularly in chemical handling.
