My client is a well-known mining company seeking for a Head of HR Strategy with exceptional opportunity to lead and execute transformation across business units.

Job Description

As Head of HR strategy, you will lead the transformation of HR department with a strong focus on people development, performance management, and fostering a positive organizational culture. This role will focus on organizational development ensuring alignment with the company's long-term growth and business objectives.

  • Oversee the entire HR department, ensuring employee development and performance management initiatives are aligned with the company's business goals and long-term growth strategies.
  • Design and implement comprehensive upskilling programs for all employees, with a special focus on site employees and staff outside of headquarters, ensuring they are equipped to meet current and future challenges.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to create a positive, inclusive workplace culture that is consistent across all business units, fostering engagement and alignment with organizational values.
  • Lead change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions during periods of transformation with minimal disruption, while reinforcing adaptability and resilience within the workforce.
  • Develop and implement performance management frameworks that clearly align individual employee goals with organizational objectives, driving productivity and fostering continuous improvement across the company.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of HR initiatives by utilizing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track progress, assess impact, and identify opportunities for ongoing improvement.

The Successful Applicant

  • Over 12 years of experience in managing generalist HR with track-record in organizational development and strong talent management exposure with at least 5 years of people leading experience
  • Experience in handling HC strategy related to performance management, L&D for all level including blue collars, organizational development, and culture reinforcement.
  • Exceptional stakeholders management skills with the ability to navigate complex cases
  • Sound knowledge of HR processes and best practices
  • Excellent communication in English
