Job Description

As a Head of Finance, your will be reporting to the Board, main responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the overall financial strategy and operations of the organisation.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and legal requirements.
  • Preparing and presenting accurate financial reports to senior management.
  • Managing the budgeting process and monitoring expenditures.
  • Implementing and maintaining effective financial systems and controls.
  • Collaborating with other departments to provide financial insights and recommendations.
  • Developing strategies to optimise financial performance and sustainability.
  • Leading and mentoring the finance team to achieve organisational goals.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Finance should have:

  • Strong academic qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is preferred.
  • Proven expertise in financial management and strategic planning.
  • Experience in the not-for-profit sector or similar industries.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
