With a strong global presence, the company specializes in manufacturing a wide range of building materials, including cement, concrete, and related construction products.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives, enhancing profitability and supporting long-term growth.
  • Oversee the budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of financial information to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow and working capital effectively to ensure the organisation maintains adequate liquidity to meet operational needs.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of capital investments and projects, utilising financial modeling techniques to assess potential returns and risks.
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations, internal controls, and company policies, mitigating risks associated with financial operations.
  • Analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics, providing insights and recommendations to drive performance improvements across the organisation.
  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative environment and encouraging professional growth and development.
  • Collaborate with other departments and senior management to provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports and analyses to the executive team, ensuring clarity and actionable insights.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements within the finance function, driving efficiency and best practices across the organisation.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or professional certification (CFA, CPA) preferred.
  • 15+ years in finance, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership role, preferably in the building materials, chemical, FMCG, or manufacturing sector.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop finance teams, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Experience with a Big 4 firm is a plus.
  • Excellent analytic skills with attention to detail, capable of deriving insights from complex data.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
