Job Description

As a Head of Factory, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing daily operations at the engineering and manufacturing facility to ensure efficiency and safety.
  • Implementing strategies to optimise production processes and minimise waste.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and quality standards in all factory activities.
  • Managing budgets and resource allocation to meet production targets and cost objectives.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including supply chain and product development, to align operations with business goals.
  • Leading and mentoring the factory management team to enhance workforce capabilities.
  • Monitoring key performance indicators and preparing reports for senior management.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to maintain competitiveness in the FMCG market.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Factory should have:

  • A degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in factory operations within the FMCG industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage large teams effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of production planning, quality control, and safety protocols.
