Job Description
As Head of Engineering (Infrastructure-focused), you will be part of the company's pioneer IT team in Indonesia. You will help develop the local network & infrastructure in cooperation with their Global Team, and help establish technology links with partner entities such as IDX and more.
- Design and build the optimal technology infrastructure for the company's online brokerage business in the country
- Work with global IT teams to design and deliver infrastructure solutions and to localize core applications including Business Office, Sales & Trading system, CRM, Risk Management system, Clearing and Settlement system, etc.
- Build redundancy capacity and back-up service centers for business continuity planning
- Develop key relationships with various technology vendors in the region
- Build, lead, mentor and develop local IT team
- Manage computer and business application operations and ensure the IT operations adhere to local regulations and meet the KPIs of established service levels
- Ensure high service-levels for day-to-day IT user operations at both corporate and local level, meeting stability, communication, mobility and security needs.
The Successful Applicant
To be a successful Head of Engineering, you must have experience in large-scale IT Infrastructure projects, as well as deep understanding/experience on setting up IT infrastructure/network/links in the securities industry.
- Experience in large-scale IT infrastructure projects (e.g. building IT infrastructure from the ground-up, on-premise infrastructure, data center management, network management, etc.)
- Depth of product knowledge & operational processes & understanding of the securities brokerage business
- Experience/knowledge in establishing technology links to finansial institutions such as IDX is a huge advantage
- Consistent track record in project management and implementation;
- Ability to conduct in-depth technical analysis and research
- Good communication skill in both Bahasa and English. Ability to speak Mandarin Chinese is a huge advantage
- Bachelor degree with at least 10-15 years in the technology and/or financial technology industry
