About Our Client
My client is a venture-funded, mobile and e-commerce business that is disrupting the traditional retail and ecommerce business models. The job responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to
- Spearhead the entire Digital Services vertical, strategy, analytics and other support functions and to mentor & closely monitor the performance levels of all direct and indirect reportees.
- The digital vertical includes the following individual/ integrated services Recharges, Digital Bill Payments, Money transfers; It would also comprise of new cutting edge digital services as updated from time to time
- Strategize and execute the entire road-map of digital services and strive to expand the service offerings alongside growth with the retailers and partners.
- Effective Account Management for vendors & brand partners
- Ensure customer experience is excelled month-on-month
- Digital Category Profit and loss ownership
- Driving retention initiatives depending upon past trends basis regression analytics
- Establish performance specifications, cost and price parameters, market applications and sales estimates
- Cost effectiveness and budget planning & implementation
- Coach the team and constantly inspire innovation to achieve excellence
- Provide proactive solutions, brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies
- To enable and build partnerships and alliances with reputed brands and strive to achieve the best deals to ensure maximum margin profitability.
- To develop, direct and effectively execute the product life cycle & methodology, forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes used within the function
- Constantly devise and recommend market disrupting strategies backed with market research and competition analysis.
- Directs and supports the consistent implementation of company initiatives.
The Successful Applicant
- Proven working experience as a Category Head and acute understanding of the Digital segment
- Excellent leadership traits and experience of handling diverse teams across geographies.
- High level of strategic thinking and business acumen with a strong result oriented approach.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thought process.
- Proven track record of achieving targets and driving sales growth in a business
- Excellent understanding of the target market mix
- Highly creative with ability to think out of box
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
- Up-to-date with latest trends and best practices
