Job Description

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of IT applications across digital and core banking platforms
  • Drive application modernization, including cloud adoption and microservices architecture
  • Oversee software development lifecycle (SDLC) excellence, ensuring quality, scalability, and security
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to align IT delivery with strategic priorities
  • Manage and mentor large, cross-functional technology teams (development, QA, DevOps)
  • Establish and improve agile delivery frameworks and best practices
  • Ensure strong governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance across IT initiatives
  • Drive vendor management and partnerships for technology solutions delivery
  • Monitor delivery performance, budgets, and timelines, ensuring successful project execution

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in IT, with strong exposure to application development/delivery
  • Proven track record in leading digital transformation within banking or financial services
  • Strong understanding of banking systems (core banking, digital channels, payments)
  • Experience with modern technology stacks (cloud, APIs, microservices, DevOps)
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing large teams and complex programs
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills at executive level
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
