Job Description
- Managing data solutions team to build optimized ETL/ELT pipelines on both batch and streaming data
- Working with data scientists in model building to be both embedded within the product and operational fabric of the organization as well as to inform planning decisions, guiding Data Analysts to provide day-to-day insights/dashboards/reports, and also leading data engineers and data quality engineers to build and maintain data infrastructure.
- Ensuring high data quality by maintaining the framework and ensuring thorough test coverage of code in an automated way
- Ensuring data governance tooling is implemented and policies thereby adhered to
- Collaborating with various stakeholders (technical and non-techincal) to identify technical problems, design solutions, and implement them where required.

- Proven track records and data engineering experience, preferably within tech companies
- Solid experience in building scalable and reliable ETL/ELT pipelines and processes to ingest data from a variety of data sources
- Experience in data warehouse design, data lake design, and building systems from the ground up
- Equipped with leadership skills and experience in managing a team
- Strong analytical mindset with a problem-solving attitude
- Ability to communicate with a technical and non-technical audience
- Entrepreneurial and innovative thinker who will keep up with the growth of the company
