We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head of Cybersecurity to oversee and enhance the security infrastructure within the Energy & Natural Resources industry. This role requires a strong focus on safeguarding technology systems and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Job Description

Security Infrastructure

  • Design, implement, and maintain security controls (firewall, IDS/IPS, VPN, endpoint security, ZTNA).



Monitoring

  • Monitor security events through SIEM, manage incidents, and coordinate digital forensics activities.



Governance & Compliance

  • Develop and maintain information security policies aligned with ISO 27001, NIST, and applicable regulations.
  • Assist internal and external audit readiness.



Access & Identity Management

  • Manage IAM/RBAC processes, enforce MFA, and conduct regular access reviews.



Risk & Assessment Activities

  • Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability, and assist VAPT.
  • Maintain Risk Treatment Plans and follow-up remediation actions.



Awareness

  • Guide security awareness initiatives and phishing simulations.
  • Parterning with ICT, risk, and external partners to ensure secure project execution.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Informatics Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in network and system security.
  • Strong grasp of ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP, and security operations.
  • Hands-on expertise with firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, SIEM, and cloud security tools (Azure/AWS/GCP).
  • Experience in energy, oil & gas, or manufacturing industries.
  • Preferred certifications: CEH, CISSP, CompTIA Security+.
