Job Description

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize transport and logistics operations, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality service delivery.
  • Manage and lead a team of managers to oversee daily transport activities, including routing, scheduling, vendor coordination, and vehicle maintenance, while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor operational performance, analyze market trends, and implement improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and asset utilization.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients, negotiate service agreements, and support commercial growth while meeting SLA requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to deliver integrated logistics solutions and improve overall business performance.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Transportation, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in transport or logistics operations sector
  • In-depth knowledge of fleet management, maintenance, and safety.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills, focused on operational efficiency and results.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and clients.
  • Strong background in transport and distribution and ability to understand the business commercial
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience overseeing multi-location operations and driving performance.
