Out client is a well respected multinational company, boasting a strong track record historically. They are currently looking for a General Sales Manager to be a part of the team, who can assist the business at a time of rapid growth and make a key contribution to the business.

Job Description

The General Sales Manager will be reporting to the CEO. The successful candidate will represent the group through the contact with clients, personnel and other parties. You will be expected to analyse and understand market situation and trends and develop mid-term strategic marketing directions and plans for our business around the world. The successful candidate will also be able to translate market trends and customer needs into actionable goals that create competitive advantage and value propositions.Key responsibilities include and are not limited to :

  • Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands company's customer base and ensure it's strong presence

  • Prepare the annual budget and detail business plan including yield monitoring analysis, quarterly accounts and management reports.

  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status

  • Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale

  • Make full use of market intelligence such as competitors, product profile and product price to enlarge market share

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum of 10 years experience in Sales
  • Preferably with at least 5 years experiences in building materials business
  • Highly motivated individual, diligent and proactive business attitudes with leadership and entrepreneur flair
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
  • Demonstrates excellent listening and communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia
