As the General Manager, you will manage end-to-end plant operations and support commercial activities. Reporting to the Executive Leadership Team, you will ensure efficient production, high-quality output, and alignment with market demand-all while leading a skilled team dedicated to sustainability.

Job Description

Plant Operations Leadership

  • Oversee daily production workflows, safety protocols, and quality control
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, etc.)
  • Implement cost-effective strategies and optimize resource utilization



Commercial Partnership

  • Coordinate with Sales & Marketing to forecast demand and align production
  • Contribute to pricing, contract negotiations, and manage key customer relationships
  • Support business development initiatives to identify market expansion opportunities



Team & Compliance Management

  • Build, lead, and develop cross-functional plant teams
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and sustainable practices



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related discipline; MBA is preferred
  • 8-10 years' experience in manufacturing or recycling industries, at least 5 years in a GM or senior leadership capacity
  • Proven expertise in plant operations, production planning, and cost management
  • Strong commercial and customer relationship skills
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and analytical capabilities
  • Familiarity with sustainability initiatives and environmental compliance
