Job Description

  • Creating and managing budgets for hospital operations and patient care services, including setting prices for services provided
  • Coordinating activities with other departments to ensure efficient use of resources and delivery of care
  • Overseeing the development and implementation of new programs that support the mission of the hospital or medical centre
  • Managing the operations of the hospital or medical centre, such as reviewing patient care plans, monitoring staff performance, and evaluating clinical outcomes
  • Directing staff in the delivery of health care services and overseeing all administrative functions of a facility or department
  • Developing and implementing policies to ensure the safety of patients and staff
  • Establishing relationships with community leaders and government officials to promote public awareness of healthcare issues
  • Managing the hiring, firing, and training of hospital staff members to ensure efficient operation of the facility
  • Overseeing fund raising efforts and securing donations from individuals, corporations, and other organisations

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven P&L responsibility and results
  • Ability to manage mid to large scale team
  • Receiving and reviewing quarterly quality improvement reports
  • Minimum of five (5) years experience in Medical
  • Minimum ten (10) years experience in a management position
