Job Description



  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets. Identify market opportunities, trends, and competitive landscapes to optimize sales performance.


  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the sales team to ensure alignment with organisational goals and objectives. Provide guidance, coaching, and support to drive individual and team performance. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.


  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, contractors, architects, developers, and other stakeholders. Understand customer needs, preferences, and market dynamics to deliver exceptional service and drive customer satisfaction.


  • Market Expansion: Identify and pursue opportunities for market expansion and growth. Develop and execute strategies to penetrate new markets, segments, and channels. Evaluate potential partnerships, alliances, and distribution channels to maximize sales reach and market penetration.


  • Product Portfolio Management: Work closely with the product management team to optimize the product portfolio, pricing strategy, and promotional activities. Ensure effective inventory management, product availability, and merchandising to meet customer demand and drive sales.


  • Sales Performance Analysis: Monitor, analyze, and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitive activities. Utilize data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement, optimize sales processes, and drive business results.



The Successful Applicant

  • Had experience of handling business operations.
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, preferably in the building materials or construction industry.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire, motivate, and empower a diverse team.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset. Ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Analytical and data-driven approach to decision-making. Proficiency in sales analytics, forecasting, and performance metrics.
  • Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and customer management skills. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Adaptability, resilience, and agility in responding to changing market conditions and business challenges.
