Job Description

  • Managing daily foundry-metal casting operations to ensure efficient production output.
  • Overseeing quality control processes to maintain product standards.
  • Implementing and monitoring safety protocols across the foundry floor.
  • Collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to optimise production methods.
  • Analysing operational data to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
  • Supervising and mentoring staff to enhance team performance and skill development.
  • Coordinating maintenance schedules to minimise downtime and ensure equipment reliability.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies

The Successful Applicant

  • A strong background in the metalurgical engineering or foundry engineering, particularly in foundry or metal casting operations.
  • Proven ability to manage teams and drive operational improvements.
  • Solid knowledge of safety standards and quality control processes.
  • Technical expertise in production equipment and maintenance coordination.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Relevant educational qualifications in engineering or a related field.
