Job Description

As a Finance Controller, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and overseeing all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Ensuring compliance with local and international financial regulations and standards.
  • Providing strategic financial insights to support senior management in decision-making.
  • Supervising the preparation of accurate financial statements and reports.
  • Implementing and maintaining effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Collaborating with other departments to optimise financial performance and efficiency.
  • Leading and mentoring the finance team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Managing relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Controller should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA, or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and reporting practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven leadership abilities with experience managing a finance team.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
