Job Description

As part of the Engineering Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient execution of engineering operations within the coal mining project. Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing mine engineering plans, including design, scheduling, and production optimization.
  • Managing and supervising daily mining operations to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Conducting technical assessments and feasibility studies for new and existing projects.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Implementing best practices in mine planning, equipment utilization, and infrastructure development.
  • Ensuring all engineering activities align with corporate objectives and government regulations.
  • Providing mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and field team

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in mine engineering, preferably in coal mining operations.
  • Pengawas Operasi Utama (POU) certified
  • Strong knowledge of mining software (e.g., Surpac, Minex, Minescape) and engineering principles.
  • Familiarity with Indonesian mining laws and safety regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a hands-on approach to operational challenges.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of working in a team-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to be based in remote site locations as required.
