We are currently working with one of the biggest real estate developer company in Indonesia, who is looking for a competent Director of Urban Development to help them in this time of growth.

Job Description



  • Feasibility Studies & Market Analysis
    • Conduct comprehensive feasibility studies to assess the highest and best use of existing landbank assets.
    • Analyze economic, regulatory, and environmental factors affecting development opportunities.
    • Evaluate financial viability, projected returns, and risk assessments for potential projects.


  • Infrastructure Repurposing & Development Strategy
    • Identify opportunities to repurpose or redevelop existing buildings and infrastructure for enhanced value and sustainability.
    • Collaborate with internal teams (design, engineering, legal, and finance) to develop business plans for adaptive reuse projects.
    • Ensure projects align with local zoning regulations, urban planning guidelines, and sustainability objectives.


  • Stakeholder Management & Approvals
    • Liaise with government authorities, urban planners, and local communities to secure necessary permits and approvals.
    • Work closely with investors, developers, and partners to optimize project funding and execution.
    • Negotiate land use agreements and partnerships to unlock development potential.


  • Project Execution & Performance Monitoring
    • Oversee the implementation of approved projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
    • Monitor key performance metrics to assess the impact and profitability of development initiatives.
    • Continuously refine strategies based on market conditions and evolving business objectives.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in real estate development, feasibility analysis, or urban regeneration projects.
  • Strong financial modeling, data analysis, and project management skills.
  • Experience working with government agencies and understanding zoning laws and development regulations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
