We are looking for Director of Sharia Business to lead and oversee the Sharia operations of one of our insurance clients. This role requires strong expertise in Sharia compliance and strategic leadership to drive growth and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

Job Description

  • Developing and implementing strategic plans for the Sharia business in alignment with company goals.
  • Ensuring full compliance with Sharia principles and relevant financial regulations.
  • Overseeing product development to cater to the needs of Sharia-compliant insurance customers.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to build and strengthen partnerships in the financial services industry.
  • Monitoring and managing the operational performance of the Sharia unit.
  • Providing leadership and guidance to the Sharia team to achieve business objectives.
  • Conducting regular reviews and audits to ensure adherence to Sharia guidelines.
  • Representing the company in discussions with regulatory bodies and Sharia advisory boards.

The Successful Applicant

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Sharia compliance within the financial services and insurance industry.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategic business plans.
  • Experience in managing teams and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
