About Our Client

Our client is a leading industrial manufacturing company. A well respected player boasting a strong track record historically, they are a premium brand in the industry. Consequently, they are looking to bring on board a dynamic Demand and Supply Planning Manager who can assist the business at a time of rapid growth and make a key contribution to the business

Job Description

  • Make assumptions on demand forecast, review forecast accuracy and make adjustments to align with planning
  • Fully understand the key planning parameters(lead-time, lot size, planning cycle, supply reliability, demand variability, customer service target etc), working capital targets and E2E process
  • Ensure that SOP is in place under your responsibility
  • Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets and business strategies
  • Responsible for leading discussion with a team (Marketing, Trade Marketing, and Sales) to produce a scientifically based operational forecast and annual business plan, in order to advise and challenge senior management when agreeing the overall business forecast
  • Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities. Prepare strategic and ad hoc analysis
  • Address demand related issues in a timely and effective manner. Also to work effectively as good team member
  • Monitor & liaise with Global / Regional Supply Chain.
  • Assist in company's stock count activity
  • Demonstrate leadership in engaging and working with internal and external resources
  • Any other ad hoc duties as assigned

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor Degree Holder in Supply Chains / Business or related disciplines with
  • Minimum of 15 years working experience in supply chain preferably within industrial / FMCG industry, with at least 8 years working experience in planning managerial level
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Words, Excel and Power Point, V-Look-Up and Pivot
  • Strong understanding in demand planning and supply chain management
  • Strong in data analysis
  • Outstanding relationship building skills with internal & external business partners
  • ERP system experience strongly preferred
  • People manager, with previous experience managing and developing a big team
  • Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and be able to multi-task
  • Have previous experience working with implementation of ERP and digitalization of supply chain process
