Job Description

  • Executing trades across multiple financial products (Equity Trading, Fixed Income/Sukuk Trading and Money Market Placement) in adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Monitoring market trends and providing insights to optimise trading strategies.
  • Data Analytics & Trade Intelligence, develop and maintain automated reporting pipelines for trade execution metrics across asset class in Python/VBA, visualisation in powerBI/Databrick.
  • Collaborating with portfolio managers to align trading activities with investment goals.
  • Maintaining detailed records of all trades and ensuring compliance with internal policies.
  • Analysing trade performance and preparing detailed reports for stakeholders.
  • Ensuring seamless communication with counterparties and resolving trade-related issues.
  • Utilising trading platforms and tools effectively to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Staying updated on market developments and regulatory changes impacting the Financial Services industry.

The Successful Applicant

  • WPPE or WMI Holder
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science or related fields.
  • 1-5 years relevant trading experience
  • Knowledge and proficiency will be built in Bloomberg Trading functions AIM, EMSX, TSOX, etc, and custodial systems extensively.
  • Strong technical Python, SQL, Excel VBA, as well as SAP Business Object reporting software, PowerBI, Databricks and database management is a plus.
  • Experience in middle or back-office roles on buy or sell side helpful in understanding the full life cycle of trade executions.
  • Experience handling projects, corporate actions, settlement, funds accounting experience an advantage.
