The group invests across mining, aircraft systems, and defense technologies, with a dedicated focus on securing long‑term critical mineral supply chains, including copper, a key resource for global electrification.

Job Description

As a Copper Senior Geologist, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Lead geological evaluation, exploration planning, and resource modelling for copper assets.
  • Conduct technical due diligence for acquisitions, joint ventures, and project financing.
  • Review and validate geological models, exploration databases, and resource estimates (JORC/NI 43‑101).
  • Provide expert recommendations to investment committees and executive stakeholders.
  • Coordinate site visits, drilling supervision, and technical audits across global project locations.
  • Liaise with external consultants, EPC partners, and geological service providers.
  • Monitor project risks, reserve development, and operational performance of invested assets.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Copper Senior Geologist should have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology, Geoscience, or related field.
  • 10+ years' experience in copper exploration, resource geology, or mining evaluation.
  • Strong track record in porphyry copper systems (preferred).
  • Familiar with JORC, NI 43‑101, and international reporting standards.
  • Experience supporting investment decisions, M&A due diligence, or feasibility studies.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to advise non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
